1. About Lift & Sprint

Lift & Sprint is a fitness-tracking application designed to help users:

• record strength workouts;
• create and use workout plans;
• operate sprint and rest timers;
• record cardio and conditioning activity;
• review training history;
• view statistics and personal bests.

Lift & Sprint is operated by the owner of liftandsprint.co.uk.

2. No account required

Lift & Sprint is designed to operate without requiring a Lift & Sprint account, login or user profile.

Most workout data and app settings are stored locally on your device.

Unless a cloud-based feature is expressly introduced and clearly identified in the future, Lift & Sprint does not provide cloud synchronisation or remote backup of your workout history.

3. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms.

If you are under 18, you should use Lift & Sprint only with the permission and appropriate supervision of a parent or guardian.

4. Fitness and medical disclaimer

Lift & Sprint is provided as a workout-recording, planning and timer tool.

It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, physiotherapy advice, personalised medical guidance, professional nutritional advice, or guarantees of fitness, health or performance results.

You are responsible for deciding whether an exercise, workout or training programme is appropriate for you.

Before beginning a new training programme, particularly if you have an injury, medical condition or concerns about your health, you should seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Stop exercising and seek appropriate medical assistance if you experience pain, faintness, breathing difficulty or other concerning symptoms.

You are responsible for:

• exercising safely;
• using equipment correctly;
• selecting appropriate weights, speeds, distances and rest periods;
• ensuring your surroundings are suitable for exercise;
• following relevant instructions from your gym, coach or healthcare professional.

5. App and website availability

We aim to keep Lift & Sprint available and functioning correctly, but we do not guarantee that the app or website will always be:

• available without interruption;
• completely free from errors;
• compatible with every device, browser or operating-system version;
• available in every country;
• supported indefinitely.

We may update, modify, suspend or discontinue parts of Lift & Sprint where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, compatibility, product improvement or changes to third-party services.

6. Free and Premium access

Lift & Sprint may be offered as a free app with an optional Premium upgrade.

The free version may include:

• advertisements;
• limits on saved plans;
• limited access to advanced statistics;
• other clearly identified feature restrictions.

Premium may include:

• removal of in-app advertisements;
• additional or unlimited workout-plan functionality;
• access to advanced statistics;
• other features clearly identified as Premium within the app.

The exact features available in the free and Premium versions may evolve as Lift & Sprint is developed.

7. Premium purchase

Lift & Sprint Premium is offered as a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase rather than a recurring Lift & Sprint subscription.

The price displayed to you is supplied through the relevant app store and may vary according to country, currency, tax and local store pricing.

Payments are processed by the relevant app store. Lift & Sprint does not directly receive or store your full payment-card or banking details.

8. Premium ownership and restoration

Premium is associated with the Google Play account used to complete the purchase.

Lift & Sprint may automatically check Google Play purchase ownership to:

• verify an existing Premium entitlement;
• restore Premium following reinstallation;
• restore Premium when moving to another compatible device using the same Google Play account;
• update entitlement status following changes reported by Google Play.

A manual Restore Premium Purchase option may also be provided.

No Lift & Sprint account or login is required to restore Premium.

Successful restoration requires access to the Google Play account that owns the purchase and depends on Google Play Billing being available.

Lift & Sprint may temporarily rely on a previously confirmed local Premium status when Google Play cannot be reached. A temporary network or billing-service failure should not, by itself, remove previously confirmed Premium access.

If Google Play later successfully confirms that the Premium product is no longer owned because, for example, a purchase has been refunded or revoked, Premium access may be removed.

9. Refunds and statutory rights

Refund requests are normally handled through the app store that processed the purchase and are subject to its applicable procedures.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Where UK consumer law applies, digital content remains subject to applicable statutory requirements, including requirements relating to satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose where applicable and conformity with its description.

10. Advertisements

The free version of Lift & Sprint may display advertising supplied by third-party advertising providers, including Google AdMob.

Advertisements may be personalised or non-personalised depending on your location, consent choices, device settings, applicable law and the advertising provider's policies and available advertising inventory.

We do not control every advertisement displayed and do not endorse every advertised product or service.

Where ad removal forms part of Premium, users with a valid Premium entitlement will not receive Lift & Sprint's in-app advertising.

11. Website analytics, cookies and measurement

The Lift & Sprint website uses services including Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand website usage, performance and interaction patterns.

The website uses Cookiebot CMP to present and record cookie choices. Analytics services are enabled only when Cookiebot reports consent for the Statistics category.

These services may use cookies or similar technologies and are governed by their own terms and privacy documentation.

Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential analytics cookies or similar technologies, those technologies should be used in accordance with the required consent choices.

The website also uses Google Search Console for site ownership verification, indexing and search-performance administration.

12. Ratings and reviews

Lift & Sprint may occasionally invite you to rate or review the app through Google Play.

You are under no obligation to provide a rating or review.

Any rating or review you choose to submit is handled through Google Play and is subject to the relevant platform rules.

Lift & Sprint does not guarantee that an in-app review prompt will be displayed each time it is requested because the availability and presentation of that interface may be controlled by Google Play.

13. Privacy and data

Your use of Lift & Sprint is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains:

• what information is stored locally;
• how website analytics and cookies may be used;
• how advertising services may process information;
• how purchases and Premium restoration are handled;
• how rating prompts are handled;
• what privacy choices and rights may be available.

14. Locally stored workout data

Lift & Sprint may store workout history, plans, settings and related information locally on your device.

Local data may be lost if you uninstall the app, clear app storage, reset or replace your device, lose access to the device, or experience device or storage failure.

Premium purchase restoration does not restore locally stored workout history.

Unless a cloud-backup feature is expressly provided, we do not guarantee that locally stored workout data can be recovered.

You are responsible for maintaining any personal backup arrangements that may be available to you through your device or operating system.

15. Workout plans and active sessions

Lift & Sprint may allow you to create saved workout plans and modify the order or content of exercises during an active session.

Changes made to an active workout may not alter the original saved plan unless the app expressly provides and you intentionally use a feature to update that plan.

You are responsible for reviewing your workout content before and during training.

16. Accuracy of statistics and personal bests

Statistics, personal bests, training summaries and calculated values depend on the information recorded in the app.

Results may be inaccurate where information is entered incorrectly, workouts are incomplete, exercises are misclassified, historical information is missing, device timing affects timer operation, or calculations are rounded.

Statistics are provided for general information, tracking and motivation. They should not be treated as medical, scientific or professional performance assessments.

17. Timers, sounds and voice guidance

Sprint timers, rest timers, beeps and text-to-speech guidance may be affected by:

• device performance;
• operating-system restrictions;
• battery-saving settings;
• audio focus;
• connected headphones or speakers;
• music applications;
• installed text-to-speech voices;
• calls or notifications.

You should remain aware of your surroundings and should not rely solely on an audio cue where failing to hear it could create a safety risk.

18. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Lift & Sprint unlawfully;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the app, website or related systems;
• interfere with the security or operation of Lift & Sprint;
• distribute malicious code;
• manipulate advertising or purchase systems;
• make fraudulent purchase or restoration claims;
• copy, resell or commercially exploit the app without permission;
• use the app or website in a way that infringes another person's rights.

19. Intellectual property

Lift & Sprint, including its name, logo, branding, interface, original graphics, written content, software, layout and design, is owned by or licensed to the operator of Lift & Sprint.

You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose and in accordance with these Terms.

20. Third-party services

Lift & Sprint may rely on or interact with third-party services including:

• Google Play;
• Google Play Billing;
• Google AdMob;
• Google consent-management services;
• Google Play in-app reviews;
• Google Analytics;
• Google Search Console;
• Microsoft Clarity;
• Cookiebot CMP;
• device operating-system and text-to-speech services;
• external website, form-processing, email and hosting services.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms, policies and availability.

We are not responsible for interruptions or changes caused solely by a third-party service outside our reasonable control.

21. External links

The app or website may contain links to external websites or services.

We are not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices, products or services of external providers.

22. Updates and device compatibility

You may need to install updates to continue using all Lift & Sprint features.

Some updates may require a newer Android version, updated third-party services, changes to device settings or additional permissions where a new feature genuinely requires them.

We do not guarantee indefinite compatibility with devices or operating-system versions that are no longer supported.

23. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.

Subject to those protections, Lift & Sprint is not responsible for loss or damage arising from circumstances including:

• unsafe exercise decisions;
• misuse of equipment;
• failure to seek appropriate medical advice;
• inaccurate information entered by the user;
• loss of locally stored data;
• device or storage failure;
• third-party service failure;
• temporary app or website unavailability;
• failure to hear a timer or voice cue;
• use of the app for a purpose for which it was not designed.

24. Changes to Lift & Sprint

We may add, modify or remove features as Lift & Sprint develops.

Where a change materially affects privacy practices, Premium functionality or these Terms, we may update the relevant documentation.

The availability of individual features may depend on app version, device compatibility, free or Premium access, and third-party service availability.

25. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Lift & Sprint, new features, changes in law, changes to third-party services, or security and operational requirements.

The latest version will be published with an updated revision date.

26. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland.

If you live elsewhere, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections that apply in the country or part of the United Kingdom where you live.

Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

27. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue to apply.

28. No waiver

If we do not enforce a right immediately, that does not mean we have waived that right.
